Thrift Shoppe

Located next to Foster's Crossing Antique Market:
506 Oak Street
Sandpoint, Idaho 83864

208-263-0706

Hours: 10:00am to 5:00pm,
Monday to Saturday* (New Winter Hours!)

The Thrift Shoppe depends on donations from the public for its sales. By shopping at the store or donating much-needed items, you are helping care & feed the animals at the shelter.

We accept a wide variety of donations such as books, household items, clothing, furniture and small appliances.

All of the merchandise is arranged by department which makes the store very easy to shop and find that great bargain or new treasure.

The store is operated almost totally by our wonderful volunteers. Without them, we would not be able to keep the store open, let alone provide the financial support the animal shelter needs.

Like the Panhandle Animal Shelter, the Thrift Shoppe is owned by Friends of the Shelter, Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We receive no tax support from city, county, state or federal governments. After expenses, such as rent and electricity, all of the proceeds from Thrift Shoppe go to the animal shelter. In fact, the Thrift Shoppe provides more than 30 percent of the Panhandle Animal Shelter's operating budget.
